Happy Birthday to us! Back in 2015, we came up with an idea that we thought would make it so much better for cool administrators we knew to work in a way that made sense for them, and would help businesses with all that pesky… business stuff... that often gets in the way of achievement.
Julia had just left the first version of her advice-only financial planning firm to start the second. Shannon, as Julia’s mind-blowing EA, and Krysten, as Julia’s BFF who just happened to be a marketing and systems brainiac, made it possible to transition from one to the other in about six weeks.
Yep - and not a single client was lost. In fact, there were big gains. Business owners were blown away, and started asking...Hey, could I get a Shannon and a Krysten? To which Julia replied: NO, they’re mine!
But then professional administrators from Julia’s previous firms started asking if maybe they could get a job like Shannon’s, because it sounded pretty good. We started to think there was not only a market, but that we also made a very cool team. Tracey, who was the founding admin at Julia’s previous firm, joined us not long after.
And now… we are six.
It’s been an interesting journey. We’ve learned a lot and we continue to learn a lot. We still have the same values - and you can still read the first piece we ever wrote - our No Jerk Policy - right here on our website. We still have the same core original founders, we still like each other a whole bunch, and now we have so much more.
We have a delightful, amazing, and growing team of experts who are even better than we imagined at the start. We have core clients who get it - who get us -and who wouldn’t work with anyone else in any other way (we love you!). We are endlessly grateful for the opportunity we have to work with super cool people, every single day.
