Hey… how are you holding up?

We’ve written and rewritten our regular monthly newsletter a few times. The changes are relentless and we’ve been modifying our message nearly daily. By the time you read this, the tone around the world may have shifted already, but hopefully our message stays relevant and useful.

We know that many business owners, individuals, families, and communities are struggling right now. Uncertainty just makes that struggle even more difficult.

Your Admin Slayer team is here to support you, whether you need that support for a short period of time, or a long one. Here’s what we’re doing to help:

Taking Care of Our Clients

We are writing your news releases and customer care messages, updating your websites, cancelling, rescheduling, and transitioning appointments and meetings to videoconference, and combing through your social media curation to make sure it stays relevant.

We are connecting with you to find out what has changed for you, reviewing the systems you have in place - including cybersecurity - updating where necessary, and implementing different procedures.

If you need to change how you work with Admin Slayer, let us know, and we’ll adjust accordingly. Whether you need more of us, less of us, different expertise on our team, or from our wide network, we can help you through this wildly different experience.

Sharing Expertise

Admin Slayer has been a 100% remote workforce for all of our years in operation. We know how to run a full team at a distance, how to communicate, what systems and programs are effective in different kinds of businesses and processes, and how to manage operational risk. Whether you are currently an Admin Slayer client or not, we’re here to help. Reach out to us directly, and make use of our new Free Resources page, which we will be updating regularly (please share any tips you have!).

Taking Care of Our Team

Admin Slayer has always been a community and a team, first and foremost. We built this company around amazing people who want and need to work differently. Despite what many expect, we’ve never run as an agency, where a team member is left to figure stuff out on their own. We’ve always been a collaborative team, working together to support businesses with all the different kinds of expertise on our team. We support each other so that every slayer is able to work and support their family in the way that works for them.

Many slayers have young families. The loss of childcare will have an impact on our team. Thanks to our team model, we’ve always had written procedure manuals and multiple slayers trained inside each business we support. Any changes we make to support our slayers should have minimal impact on your business, because we’ve always been expecting the unexpected.

We are working together internally to ensure that we are here for each other, so that we can be here for you. We continue to cross train, communicate, and support each other, so we can remain the strong team that you have always been able to count on.

It’s possible that the way the world works may change after this pandemic, and business may experience some of the most permanent change - particularly in how heavily remote work and cloud based systems are embraced. We are pretty proud that our CMO, Krysten Merriman, is a leading expert on the topic, and is featured on Informed Opinions as one of the key experts reporters are interviewing about remote work today.

Krysten has put together some useful information that businesses can use to transition and modernize their own operations. Our Chief Knowledge Officer, Tracey, talks about some cybersecurity protections you’ll want to have in place as well. If you or someone you know needs some help in these areas, we are providing consulting support to assist businesses moving into the virtual world, and protecting themselves once they are there. Contact us to learn more.

Through all of this, we just keep slaying. We introduced you to our Operations Slayer Tammy in the past, and this month, she’s taking us through a day in her life, running a ranch, a family, driving a bus, and helping great businesses work more efficiently.

Finally, if you have a little brain space, we are continuing our series discussing exactly how we support businesses. Last month, we introduced you to Samantha, a financial advisor who delegated like a demon so she could focus on providing great advice. This month, we’re showcasing Adam, a professional realtor with an incredible social media presence. We’ve helped him maintain and grow his online reach, allowing him even more time to sell homes, and make money. Social media has been an important part of any business for years, but it’s even more important now. Learn how we helped Adam, and get in touch with us if you’d like to experience the same!

Wishing you and everyone in your life great health.
